I am a 34 year old woman living in South Yorkshire, England. For four and a half years, I was a full-time carer for my mum who unfortunately has just passed away. She had early onset Alzheimer’s disease..
I thought that a blogging platform would be the best way to share with others online my creative art pursuits..
I am an amateur artist, hoping to develop my art, as a hobby. I upload progression photos on my blog of how I went about creating various pieces of art, a beginning to end process. I find art very therapeutic and enjoy; portraiture, diamond art, acrylic painting, loom knitting, promarker pen illustrations and I would love to develop; photography, watercolours/ oils / collage. I also have a keen interest in upcycling furniture. I have done quite a few projects for the Children’s Air Ambulance, with the hope of one day setting up my own furniture upcycling business…
As well as showcasing my art, I also delight in the opportunity to publish personal travel / theatre blog posts. I have been all over the country with my mum seeing various touring musical theatre, and in the West End. (More recently with my friends). I enjoy European city breaks, sunny holidays abroad, Christmas market getaways, local fun days out, seaside trips, the lot. So please keep a look out for my travel / theatre posts; I enjoy writing them and I would do hope you enjoy reading them just as much 🙂 🙂
