I am a 31 year old woman living in South Yorkshire, England. For four and a half years, I was a full-time carer for my mum who is now unfortunately in the later stages of early onset Alzheimer’s disease dementia; she now resides permanently in residential care..

I thought that a blogging platform would be the best way to share with others online my creative art pursuits..

I am an amateur artist, hoping to develop my art, as a hobby primarily. I upload progression photos on my blog of how I went about creating various pieces of art, a beginning to end process. I find art very therapeutic and enjoy or would like to develop; portraiture, loom knitting, watercolour and acrylic painting, crystal (diamond) art, and my own original amateur art / art therapy with promarker pens. I also have a keen interest in upcycling furniture and have started volunteering as a furniture refurbisher for the Children’s Air Ambulance…

As well as showcasing my art, I also delight in the opportunity to publish personal travel / theatre blog posts. I have been all over the country with my mum seeing various touring musical theatre, and in the West End. I enjoy European city breaks, sunny holidays abroad, Christmas market getaways, local fun days out, seaside trips, the lot. So please keep a look out for my travel / theatre posts; I enjoy writing them and I do hope you enjoy reading them just as much 🙂 🙂
